Tropical Peat Lanka is a long-standing brand in the cocopeat production industry in Sri Lanka that has gained a reputation for our high-quality products. With a history that runs back 40 years, we have been on the scene since the first cocopeat sample was exported from Sri Lanka to the international market. Today we export our products to various countries, including Korea, Japan, Turkey, the USA, and UAE, and plan to break into new international markets in the near future. Currently, our product portfolio consists of Grow bag, Briquettes, Coir disk, Coir twin, Coir rope, Coir yarn, Coir fiber bale, Open top bags catering to various requirements of our consumers.

temperature management and aeration, we produce all of our products from sustainably sourced raw materials from local coconut plantations. The majority of our raw materials come from our own coconut plantations, which are close to 200 acres in total, and the rest is sourced from handpicked coconut plantations across the country. With a state-of-the-art factory and skilled team, we ensure quality in everything we do, which has helped us obtain our SGS and GMP certifications for quality.

Our Story

Tropical Peat Lanka has been in the business since 1983 playing various roles in the coco peat sector. In the beginning, we supplied our products to major exporters in Sri Lanka. We were the suppliers of the first cocopeat sample that was exported for the very first time to an international client by a reputable brand in Sri Lanka. Once the business was passed down to the second generation of our family, we expanded our operations and product portfolio and started exporting our products on our own. Today the third generation of our family has also joined the business and works together with our team to expand and grow the company to new heights.
